Black Alumni Council
Established in 1983, the Wesleyan Black Alumni Council provides a means for African-American alumni to continue a relationship with the University, further its goals, support its programs and students and create opportunities for interaction with the larger Wesleyan community. Regularly scheduled events include Kwanzaa, the Dwight L. Greene Symposium (an annual program focused on matters related not only to the African-American experience, but the experiences of all underrepresented groups) and panel presentations featuring distinguished alumni and parents of color.
